How to perform shoe care
1. Remove insoles and laces
Before cleaning the shoe, it is recommended to remove the laces so that the folds around the tongue can be properly cleaned. Remove the insoles and let them dry. The insoles can be hand washed with soapy water. Maximum water temperature 30ºC, do not dry on direct heat.
2. Clean the upper
Clean the upper with a soft brush or cloth in warm water. Shoes with a Gore-tex membrane can be rinsed inside the shoe.
3. Clean the soles
Remove rough dirt and stones from soles. Then clean the sole, including the rubber pad, with a brush and warm water.
4. Let the leather dry
Let the shoes dry freely. Please do not dry leather shoes in direct sunlight and high temperature. When drying, it is recommended to have a shoe tensioner inside the shoe, or newspaper will work well.
5. Impregnation
Suitable for dipping on shoes that are not yet dry. Velor Nubuck Care Spray or Nano Protect Spray is well prepared for all types of leather and textiles.
Spray at least three coats so that the product doesn't run off the surface of the skin and the individual coats don't dry out.
We recommend using the impregnation outdoors or in a well-ventilated room
6. Caring
After drying, you can nourish the leather with Velor Nubuck Care. Shake well before use and apply evenly to surface with a sponge. Let it dry well again. Then brush the leather surface with a rubber scrub brush.
We recommend using shoes within 24 hours of treatment.
jollyscarpe is a social enterprise that has been involved in social communication and regular fundraising since 2005.
We work to provide financial support for social inclusion projects and programs run by local partners to support families with members of the family with autism and other disabilities.
We want to promote a "different view" of social issues: without denying or downplaying the burden of these people's daily challenges and efforts, it is important for us to speak with a smile about the potential of these young people and their The power of the family is great.
Through Sneakers Manufacturer's Capillary Network, we try to engage entrepreneurs and citizens in our programs, encouraging them to sponsor "short-distance" and long-term sponsorships of inclusive programs...not just kids with autism or disabilities.
what we do
We only engage in social exchanges and regular fundraising: we want to create groups of supporters for our services, and by committing to us for a long time, we can consistently and reliably support inclusive and self-governing projects that improve the lives of the many people who work with us every day of the year. What started out as one of the first shoe wholesalers in Sweden is now a leading company selling in and outside the Nordics. We have been producing safety and professional shoes of the highest quality since 1839, and our headquarters are in Kumla, Sweden's 'shoe mecca'. Sneakers Manufacturer is based in Sweden's only safety shoe factory - Arbesko Skofabrik in Kumla - and we develop our shoes in close cooperation with professional users.
To this day, we are driven by new innovations and partnerships, and focused on our core design values: quality, safety and functionality. Arbesko is part of Bergman & Beving, one of the leading niche suppliers in Northern Europe, providing sustainable and value-creating products and services to the industrial and construction sectors. Bergman & Beving-owned companies aim to achieve market-leading positions in selected segments of their key markets.
The fact that we were the first and are still here is a clear testament to our values, our way of working and our curiosity at work. A major driver is that we, as a Swedish company, have Swedish-made products to compete on a tough international stage.
We chose Sweden for our research, development and manufacturing, which was a very smart choice. The experience and knowledge needed to manufacture the absolute highest quality safety shoes can be found here.
Furthermore, due to years of industrial health and safety legislation, Swedish customers place the highest demands on us and our products. Something that continually elevates us as a company and our products to the next highest level.
Since the early 1990s, we have been working in accordance with a long-term sustainable development strategy. Applicable laws and other government regulations are minimum levels. Our factories are certified to SS EN ISO 9001:2015 and SS EN ISO 14001:2015 for quality and environmental control.
Quality: We will deliver the right quality and quantity of products at the right time. By continuously developing our business, our goal is to provide "zero defect" products.
Environment: We must prevent our operations from negatively impacting air, water and land. This is achieved by always using the best available and most economically suitable technology to reduce emissions as much as possible, reducing the amount of waste in all processes and achieving continuous improvement in the environmental field.
Our uppers are manufactured in Brazil by our subsidiary Oksebra do Brasil. Oksebra's operations comply with Swedish production standards and environmental requirements. This means that we comply with all social security regulations regarding the workforce and take into account natural and environmental concerns.
All materials and components used in our footwear are sourced from reputable suppliers that comply with current EU regulations and other applicable requirements for environmentally hazardous chemicals. Our shoe boxes and other packaging materials are often made from recycled materials.
The environmental management system has been certified by BMG TRADA Certification AB (Sweden) and BSI (Brazil).
