Fila is an iconic company that provides exquisite and unconventional design texture products that have a unique echo of excellence, innovation and exquisite craftsmanship.

The Italian origin company Fila was founded in 1911 as a shoes manufacturer company in Italy by its founder, Johan Fila. Currently, it operates under the protection of Fila Korea, and has established its headquarters in Seoul, South Korea. Fila Korea owns the rights to the currently acquired footwear products.

In 2003, it was sold to an international sports brand headquartered in the United States. Subsequently, in 2007, Fila Korea acquired the brand. In September 2010, it started an initial public offering on the Korea Exchange.

Through its subsidiary Magnus Holdings Co., Ltd, Fila Holdings owns 52% of Acushnet Company. The largest shareholders of Fila Holdings include Piemonte Co., Ltd (approximately 20%), Fila Holdings (20%) and Korea National Pension Service (National Pension Service) approximately 13%. Yoon Yoon-su, who owns 75% of Piedmont’s shares, serves as the chairman of Fila Holdings. The company's chief executive officer is Yin Jinchang. Fila has offices in 11 countries around the world.

Fila sponsored events such as the BMW Open in Germany and the Sony Open in Miami, as well as individual players such as Kin Clijsters, Carsten Ball, Timea Babos, John Isner, Bjorn Borg and Svetlana Kuznetsova.
